I was thinking today about how doing math, for me really requires finding a calm, inner space, where there is enough clear space inside my head for the numbers to be free to move and play.
The stresses and anxieties of high school, were in large part what prevented me from begin able to have mor math and science time and credits.
It's not a complaint, just that there is something truly interesting about the need for space for thought and contemplation, for space for thought.
The idea that numbers need to be free ton assemble and convene in multiple permutations, and to have space to really move three dimensionally, so that things can really make sense. This is the exciting parts of learning and teaching.
Tribes was interesting, to build small chunks of community, but also to be able to see new people, and to hear that others are excited about learning too.
